Crimbo is approaching, so it's time to get Pete into the festive spirit. Apart from the Wizard of Oz and the Sound of Music, what film are they most likely to roll out at this time of year?

Pete of the Week

It's been a rough weekend and I spent most of it tucked up in bed ill :-(. But it's Monday morning and I just HAD to come in to work. Why? Because it's Pete of the Week time!

The Bob-Bot beat

Friends and colleagues of MS will know the name Bob Hayes well. Those who don't; he looks like this:

A while back, I performed the (sadly) temporary voice of the robot in Little Bridge in the style of Bob. As you may know, it wasn't used, but once Jon got a hold of the recording and flexed his Reverb skills, the Bob-Bot beat was born:

Excuse the abrupt end, Jon got bored! Enjoy!

Me & my SHADO

People keep asking me what the toy model is on my desk. It's a SHADO Mobile from cult 60's sci-fi show UFO, Gerry Andersons first move away from puppet action series to live action.

Here's a little clip of the Mobiles in action:

Oh my, oh my, oh my

The corporate statement:

"We are all perfect and wonderful here at Mediastation and love all our work no matter who it's with. And of course, we are all so well adjusted that no payment would ever be too small to cover the sheer enjoyment and love of our work"

That was Doug Fidler speaking about production of a certain recent-ness. Everyone at Mediastation will know what he means.
